Our client is a leading supplier of LPG and Natural (Mains) Gas for homes and businesses across the UK. Renowned for excellence in delivering value and a high-quality service, they pride themselves on going above and beyond for their customers.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for an Energy Sales Executive, reporting to the National Account Manager and being responsible for growing the B2B (SME + I&C) business energy portfolio, focusing on delivering both volume and margin from internal data leads across both Inbound and Outbound activity. You’ll create and manage your own opportunities and will manage internal and external customer relationships to ensure effective and productive long term relationships.

Responsibilities will include organising and implementing sales and marketing initiatives within defined budgets and national sales strategy, monitoring prices, policies and contracts for customers and effectively maintaining and optimising pipeline opportunities. You’ll be vigilant in monitoring and capturing competitor activity and will develop and build relationships with support functions.

They are looking for someone with previous experience of sales within the B2B energy market and the ability to build a network of business contacts to enable target achievement. Experience and knowledge of the business energy sector is important combined with profitable sales skills, negotiation skills and ‘closing’ skills. You’ll demonstrate a high level of focus and emotional resilience and will possess excellent communication and organisational skills. You’ll possess a good level of general education and will be articulate, numerate and IT literate. A full driving license is required.
