Learning and Development Manager 
Up to £40K 
Location: Spalding - there will be travel to other depots required. As a result of this, there is some scope to be flexible with working location and hours. 
Monday to Friday, core business working hours 08:30 – 17:30, however there is a degree of flexibility given the travel included in the role. 
Full time up to 40 hours per week – negotiable depending on experience 

We have a new opportunity available to be part of a new Learning and Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to be able to influence L&D training design and delivery from the start.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? 

You will be working in our newly appointed Learning and Development Team within our wider HR Department. 

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining existing people process workshop content and associated training materials, to ensure they remain current, relevant and in-line with Company policies and processes. 

You will work collaboratively with your team and in partnership with our team of 4 Human Resources Business Partners to identify the L&D requirements across the business and to design and co-deliver L&D solutions. 

Key areas of focus; 
- Induction and on-boarding 
- People process workshops 
- Soft skills and competency training 
- Leadership and management training 
- Environment / role specific training 

Responsibilities 
- Liaise with external providers to develop appropriate training solutions to development needs 
- Manage training records and attendance 
- Maintain toolkits and associated materials 
- Work with SHEQ to ensure relevancy and compliance 
- Advise on appropriate content 
- Create new engaging and effective delivery methods 
- Support activities to facilitate the growth of a “learning culture” 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You have lots of passion and enthusiasm and the ability to come up with creative and innovative ideas. You’ll also have an engaging, friendly and helpful demeanour with the ability to build relationships quickly. 

You will need to have experience of developing training solutions and course material and in delivering training through a variety of methods. It is important that you have knowledge of a variety of L&D methodologies. 

This role will suit a tenacious individual with great initiative and the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with a range of stakeholders. We need someone with commercial acumen and the ability to develop ideas to add value.
