Established in 1993, our client is one of Europe’s largest independent soft tissue converters with manufacturing capacity in excess of over 100,000 tonnes per annum.

They manufacture a wide range of household and away-from-home paper products from their purpose-built production facility in Lancashire. Paper products including Toilet Rolls, Kitchen Towels and Facial Tissues are manufactured to the highest levels of quality in brands and private labels utilising the latest technological advancements.

They are looking for a Purchase Ledger Controller to join their finance team located at the Head Office in Blackburn on a full-time basis.  

Initially, you will ensure the three-way match is maintained (Invoices - Delivery Notes – Order), review the “on hold” list regularly and check for resolutions, analyse paper reels invoices for commission and carriage analysis, send remittances and check and process Expense claim forms. Checking supplier statements and responsible for Petty Cash and monthly Cheque Run/ BACS payments, you will use SAGE to process invoices.

With experience in a similar role, ideally in a similar industry i.e. FMCG or manufacturing, you will be a great communicator with excellent attention to detail. Results driven and competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).  Ideally, you will have experience of using Netsuite or a similar system.
