Ossett, West Yorkshire (with frequent travel to Banbury and Corby)

Our client is a specialist manufacturer of pioneering food products. With a strong focus on innovation, quality and continuous improvement, they supply a diverse range of products to major manufacturers across the globe.   

They are now looking for a Group Health, Safety & Environment Manager to join their team in Ossett.

You will have the chance to play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the business, help to shape key processes and work alongside passionate teams.   

The Role 

As the Group Health, Safety & Environment Manager, you will develop and embed HSE standards for our client’s Ossett, Banbury and Corby sites.  

Specifically, you will:  

- Work in-line with ISO 14001 standards  
- Determine the strategic framework for the management of HSE standards  
- Implement processes to support the continuing development of an HSE culture across the business  
- Provide technical guidance on all HSE matters  
- Carry out post-incident investigations and report on possible causes and hazards  

About You  

To be considered as the Group Health, Safety & Environment Manager, you’ll need:  

- At least three - five years’ Health and Safety experience  
- A Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing facility)
- Excellent communication skills  
- A highly organised approach  
- An analytical mindset
