The Role of Italian Speaking Trainee Web Designer
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our client's team and use their language skills to write interesting content and create imaginative social media campaigns for their Italian language websites.
Your role will be to enhance user experience through imaginative design and content and our team will train you to use SEO and social media effectively to attract and retain visitors to the sites.
Along with the maintenance of existing sites, you'll have the opportunity to be involved in the creation of new sites and provide your input for design and content to maximise the appeal of the websites you are responsible for.
About You
You don't need specific technical experience, but you must have a genuine interest in technology and the online world.
The Italian market is an important one for our client, so you must be fluent in Italian language and customs and be able to create original, relevant and targeted content. Your understanding of Italian culture will be essential to engage, interest and inform your online audience.
Essential Criteria:
• Fluent in written Italian
• Expert knowledge of Italian culture, customs and idioms
• A genuine interest in web-based technology
• The willingness to learn the technical skills required to maintain and update websites
• The ability to create well written and engaging content
• The ability to accurately translate content from English to Italian
The Company
Our client is a well-established and highly successful company working in the online lottery and gambling sector. The office environment is informal and they look forward to you becoming an important member of their friendly team!
Location
You'll be working in modern offices situated in an attractive rural business park just a few miles from Harrogate. As public transport is not available, a driving licence and access to a car are essential.
Salary & Benefits
• GBP18,000 to GBP22,000 per annum depending on skills and experience
• Discretionary performance bonus
• 28 days annual leave (including statutory holidays) plus 1 additional day for each full year of employment (up to a maximum of 5 additional days)
• Flexible start/finish time
• Relaxed and friendly work environment
• Small on-site games room and gym
