Stable Hand - Temporary - Kentford - GBP8ph
A local client is seeking a new stable hand to assist with the daily stable duties on a veterinary yard.
This role would suit someone that is experienced in handling horses and would like to expand their knowledge of medical preparation and procedures. The hours are (Apply online only) Monday - Sunday with the possibility of overtime/flexibility for the right candidate. Due to the nature of the yard and surroundings the client does require the candidate to be over 18 years old. Experience of working on a working yard and sole charge would be a bonus.
Daily Duties -
• Grooming
• Mucking out
• Feed prep and feeding
• Assisting in medical procedures e.g.assisting in X-Rays
• Turning out
• Putting rugs on and taking off
It is important that you are confident around a variety of horses, including high spirited ones.
