MEN’S OUTREACH WORKER
STOKE ON TRENT

Father Hudson’s Young at Heart project offers a range of services to combat social isolation faced by older people in Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire. From experience, the project has learned that fewer men participate in social activities in their communities, which can impact on their overall health. The Young at Heart Men’s project is a new project to address this issue directly.
We require an enthusiastic and self-motivated male to provide one-to-one client-facing support for older men, setting up and running social groups, and devising and delivering engagement activities in a range of venues to meet their needs. You will also provide support to the project’s volunteers. Experience of providing services for older people and managing and supporting volunteers is therefore essential. An Enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service will be required if appointed.
