Deputy Service Manager (Residential LD)
I am actively looking for a deputy manager to join an established provider of residential and supported living care for adults within learning disabilities in Wem, Shropshire.
Employed on a full time, permanent basis, you will work closely with the registered manager within an established residential setting to ensure the people in your care lead a fulfilling and independent life.
You will be responsible for care and support planning, leading and mentoring a team of support workers, delivering personal care and ensuring that the service is compliant with both CQC and company policies.
You will deputise in the absence of the registered manager and effectively oversee the operational day to day running of the home.
This is the perfect opportunity for an established senior support worker, team leader or deputy manager who are seeking a new challenge and can demonstrate a proven background within the learning disabilities sector
Qualified to level 3 in Health and Social Care as a minimum, and with extensive experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, specifically autism and challenging behaviours, you will also hold a full UK driving licence and be flexible to work a varied shift pattern.
