Pektron Group Ltd is searching for an EMC Test Engineer who will be responsible for validation and testing of a range of electronic systems and products.

The role:
You will be responsible for setting up and conducting all types of EMC and electrical tests (internal and external), making sure that test specifications are followed correctly, devising and carrying out non-standard tests to meet special requirements and recording product condition or behaviour during and after test.
In addition you will need to create concise and clear test records, carry our monitoring of test equipment, reporting anomalies or faults as well as producing clear and professional reports / quotes as required.

About you:
You will be familiar with CE / E Marking, Automotive EMC / electrical test criteria and working with test houses such as UL, BRE, BSI, 3C and MIRA
Knowledge of automotive communication systems (CAN / LIN / ETHERNET / UHF)
Experience of creation of EMC and environmental test plans and quotes.
Essential skills, experience and qualifications:
Educated to HND or engineering degree standard
Creation of EMC and Environmental test plans and quotes
Supporting qualification testing at third-party test houses
Familiarity with test, monitoring and control instruments
Knowledge/experience of calibration techniques
Knowledge and experience of working to a recognised quality system
Provide technical support to design engineers debugging EMC issues
