Our client administers the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme (PCSPS) and provides pensions to over 1.5 million people. They have in-depth knowledge and expertise in the administration of Defined Benefit pension schemes and provide tailored services to more than 300 Government employers. Also, through their Training and Employee Engagement Service, they offer training on a wide range of pension related topics and legislative change.

Working as part of the Interface Team delivering excellent results with outstanding customer service to internal and external customers, you will be part of the team supporting 270 employers; receiving and managing new data interface files and incidents on existing interface files and ensuring that data files received into the Interface Team are completed to specification and within SLA’s.

Analysing any issues to identify areas for improvement or potential corrections that may be required, you must check and validate figures, data & information for accuracy and comprehensiveness and engage directly with Employers (and their Payroll Providers) as well as Employee Relationship Managers to ensure that interface files meet the appropriate standards.

The successful candidate should have good analytical, numerical and logic skills, and strong academics coupled with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and SQL reporting would be highly beneficial.  Strong problem-solving/process improvement experience is essential and you must be a confident data analyst with exceptional customer service and communication skills. 

An ITILv3 Foundation level qualification and experience of report writing tools e.g. Business Objects would be useful but are not essential.
