An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a 2nd Line Technical Support Analyst to join us at our office in Ferndown.

In addition to a 1st Line role, the 2nd Line Technical Support Analyst will proactively monitor and identify any possible issues with the IT Infrastructure and resolve with minimal impact to business.  Ensuring that the IT policy is being adhered to and alerting any breaches to line manager, you will aid/educate 1st line in the more difficult calls and will learn from 3rd Line in maintaining IT infrastructure.

Within this role, you will proactively administer user accounts and security access throughout the infrastructure (e.g. Active directory, Lotus notes etc).  You will perform housekeeping, proactive monitoring of infrastructure to maximize end user availability and experience to systems, for example the day to day maintenance of          Windows Servers/AD, RDS and Server Disk Space.

In order to be successful in this role, you will have in-depth Windows Desktop OS knowledge along with customer service experience within a Technical Support environment. With the ability to diagnose and fix issues as well as being part of a team looking for continual improvements; you will be competent in Windows Desktop OS, Microsoft Office with ideally some knowledge of scripting within powershell, Active Directory and Terminal Services.

It is also essential that you have, as a minimum, a Level 1 certification (MCITP:Desktop, ITIL Foundation).
