Trainee Engineer 
Andover, Hampshire (office/field based, with travel to sites)

Our client is a specialist designer and manufacturer of high quality security and privacy gates for domestic property. Beautifully crafted from metal or wood, the products are high end, tailor-made and ideal for privacy and security. 

As the company grows, they are now looking for a Trainee Engineer to deliver a range of installation projects.

The Role: 

As a Trainee Engineer, you will help to install our client’s range of automation systems for gates and doors. 

In this varied role, you will carry out groundworks, gate fitting, cabling and installation activities. 

You’ll organise materials required for projects and work with your team to ensure that jobs are completed to the highest standards. 

Additionally, you will: 

- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner 
- Identify ways to complete projects in the most efficient and effective way possible 

About You: 

Whilst no experience is required, to be considered, you’ll need: 

- At a minimum, GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English 
- A proactive approach 
- Strong problem-solving skills 
- A positive, ‘can do’ attitude 
- The ability to work well, both individually and as part of a team 

Ideally, you will also have a driving licence in order to travel to projects, but this is not essential.
