Role: CNC Setter/Operator
Salary/Shifts: Monday - Thursday 6pm - 6am GBP13 p/hour or Friday -
Sunday 6pm - 6am GBP15 p/hour
Location: Sheffield
Our client are a leading manufacturing and distribution business.
The role:
The duties listed below are not listed in any order of priority or
importance and are not intended to restrict or prioritise the
activities of the working day:
* To be able to program Mazak and Mori Seiki CNC machinery
* To set and operate CNC machines with mazatrol and fanuc controls
* To work to customer specifications with minimum supervision once
trained
* To work to tight tolerances and be responsible for your own work
ensuring the highest quality is maintained at all times
* To work to your own initiative and understand the manufacturing
processes
* Report any tooling requirements to your immediate supervisor
* Keep a clean and manageable working area
* To take a responsible approach to Health, Safety and Environmental
risks in relation to your own job role and to control the risks or
report them to management as appropriate.
The successful candidate:
Will have experience in a similar CNC Setter/Operator role. Any
experience with Mazak and/or Mori Seiki CNC machinery is advantageous.
