This Geography Trainee Teacher role will see you enrol upon the Premier Pathways Teacher Training programme. The chosen Geography Trainee Teacher start work as a Teaching Assistant within a popular Geography department, enabling them to settle into life within education. As you observe the excellent teaching practices of staff within the Humanities department and develop your own understanding of pedagogy, the appointed Geography Trainee Teacher will see their responsibilities broaden. Utilising the first class support they will receive during their time at the school, the chosen Geography Trainee Teacher will gradually begin devising and delivering their own lessons. With this teaching responsibility increasing throughout the second year of the programme, the appointed Geography Trainee Teacher will earn themselves a PGCE and QTS at the end of the two year program.
