As a Maths Trainee Teacher on the Premier Pathways Programme, your initial role within the school will be as a Teaching Assistant operating passively throughout the Maths department. The appointed Maths Trainee Teacher will be given time to observe the exceptional teaching standards displayed by their colleagues and will naturally develop their own pedagogical style. As your confidence and experience grows, so does the responsibilities of the Maths Trainee Teacher. After settling into the Maths department as a TA, the hired Maths Trainee Teacher will adopt a manageable teaching timetable, devising and delivering maths lessons. The appointed Maths Trainee Teacher will receive excellent support, allowing them to continue to provide a first-class education. Upon successful completion, the appointed Maths Trainee Teacher will be granted with a PGCE and QTS by the University of Buckingham.
