Property Support Officer
My public sector client is looking for a Property Support Officer for their business estate/buildings in Solihull. This is a temporary assignment.
The key responsibilities for the role would be to provide support to ensure the smooth running of their Estate and associated tasks includes prioritising works, liaising with contractors, maintaining accurate records of faults and repairs and then monitoring and chasing all outstanding faults and repairs. You would also need to provide procurement support, which includes ensuring value for money when sourcing or purchasing items, setting up purchase orders where necessary and paying invoices.
The role would also require you to provide Security and Information Assurance support to the Estate. Assisting the Security Liaison Officer as and when required and implementing any changes to security where required. You would also need to accurately maintain pass applications and keep a database of passes and security clearance up to date.
Part of the responsibilities will be to assist the local area lead for the management of official vehicles, organising servicing and maintenance and reconciling log sheets on a monthly basis. There will of course be ad hoc duties to include some project support, administration, data entry.
This role is a full time temporary role and will require a clearance, which may take up to 8 weeks to be returned. It is paying £7 going up to £10 in the 13th working week
