Gi Group is currently recruiting for a talented and experienced Driving Recruitment Consultant (or Experience Logistics Resourcer) to join our Driving / logistics team in Leeds. We welcome applications from individuals with recruitment experience and also with industry specific experience with knowledge of the logistics sector. This is an established, busy desk with continuous repeat business so experience of running a driving desk would be advantageous but not essential.
We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated individual who can demonstrate proven track record in the field of Recruitment Consultancy in the Driving sector or an experienced Logistics administrator / planner. You will be ideally have experience of booking drivers or industrial staffing, registering candidates, managing payroll, engaging closely with clients and candidates alike and assisting with their requirements.
You will be required to grow the driving division. The main responsibilities will be maintaining existing relationships as well as opening new relationships within the transport sector.
Experience of business to business or business to customer sales in any sector is desirable through sales calls, territory mapping, client visits along with effective administration to ensure your desk is compliant. You will be a confident communicator with excellent and interpersonal skills, able to organise and manage your time effectively, be confident in your ability to deal with clients and candidate's alike, proven experience of remote working with minimal supervision would also be beneficial.
