Salary: £40,057 - £42,899 a year plus £3203 car benefit

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, 37 hours per week

The Role:

The Council have a rare and exciting opportunity available within their Business Intelligence team for a Performance and Relationship Manager to manage, develop and provide effective performance management and a range of performance information and analysis for the Children's and Education divisions.

In this role you will be the main point of contact with Childrens Services, Education and Early years for performance and Intelligence. Managing a hardworking and dedicated team, you will ensure the service receives regular and meaningful reports into their performance and the issues affecting them.

This role will also require you to manage the delivery of statutory returns, lead on performance for Ofsted and local performance information and analysis for projects.

About you:

The Council's ideal candidate will have extensive experience of Children's and Education performance and intelligence. You will have management experience, experience of developing, implementing and maintaining effective performance management systems and frameworks, experience at an advanced level of data management and analysis and experience in strategic and corporate settings including contributing to the planning process.

They need someone who is able to manage and work in a complex and broad range of operational and corporate services and be able to lead, motivate and develop people both inside and outside of the organisation, along with understand regulation and inspection regimes and how they impact on services.

Your report and presentation skills will need to be excellent and you must be a strong influencer who is able to consult with a wide range of people.

You'll need to be able to analyse and interpret data and meet tight deadlines and effectively plan and manage resources to ensure complex work is completed to deadline.

You will have the opportunity to develop on your already existing knowledge of IT, using in house systems and advanced excel techniques.
