Due to a period of positive growth my client is currently seeking an
Environmental Consultant specialising in Acoustics and Environmental
Impact Management to support on projects across the UK and Europe.
This role will deliver Noise and Vibration assessment to clients and
internal stake holders, undertake environmental investigations and act
as support to senior technical specialists across the group.
Based in either Leeds, Manchester or Newcastle this role will serve to
support internal and external projects for the business and therefore
flexibility to travel and a valid UK driving license are essential for
this position.
In order to apply for this role, you must have:
•Bachelors (essential) in a core science and IoA Diploma in acoustics;
•Consultancy experience;
•Experience of noise monitoring surveys, environmental noise
assessment, and planning guidance;
•Working knowledge of legislation and guidelines relevant to acoustics
sector;
•Experience in the use of noise modelling software.
Ideally you will also be:
•Actively working towards Full IoA membership;
•Experienced in supporting onshore infrastructure projects, industrial
sites, offshore wind turbines and other large-scale project settings.
•Experienced in work outside of a consultancy as either an industry
professional or regulator
In addition to this the client is seeking driven, commercially minded
consultants with strong communication skills and who display the
essential team work skills needed in a consultative environment. A
background in managing your own project work would be beneficial, as
experience in client facing duties.
