Volunteering Team Assistant

Birmingham

£18,209 - £21,557 (pro-rata)

25 hours per week - must include Wednesdays

Fixed term contract - 19 months

We are looking for an exceptional and experienced Volunteering Team Assistant to join our volunteering team. You will join us as we expand our work supporting deaf and hearing volunteers on events for deaf children, young people and their families and other activities across the UK.

You will support our friendly, dynamic team who manage volunteers as they recruit, induct, train and support volunteers. You will provide a broad range of administrative support, build strong working relationships with staff and volunteers, and keep our database accurate and up-to-date. 

The successful applicant will be a good communicator who can work as part of a team and maintain relationships remotely using phone, email and other digital tools. You will be extremely organised and have experience of delivering high-quality administrative support to manage a busy workload. The ability to process large volumes of data is critical, together with excellent attention to detail.
