Warehouse Team Co-ordinator  

Fowler Welch is a market leading Logistics provider delivering a range of products and services to professional Retailers and Wholesalers across the UK. Our award winning business is now seeking a Warehouse Team Co-ordinator to join our Warehouse team based at our Head Office in Spalding.  

As Warehouse Team Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the pick operation and associated areas. 

The role involves working at the heart of the daily operation with direct contact with Drivers, Stock Controllers, Warehouse Shift Managers and Operatives, to ensure finished goods from the pick areas are presented for out loading within the required time frames.  

You’ll oversee all physical aspects of our picking operation and ensure that productivity targets are met. 

Ensuring that all tasks are completed in-line with H&S, SSOWs and HACCP regulations, you will: 

- Offer guidance, support and training to warehouse staff to ensure they perform to the best of their ability 
- Ensure that Operatives correctly load and unload products 
- Make sure that staff load and dispatch products with the correct documentation  
- Report any trailer or MHE faults 
- Ensure that customer returns are received, recorded and notified to the appropriate Stock Controller

Experience Required:  

- Previous experience of working within a product picking environment  
- Understanding of stock management techniques  

It would be great if you had experience of working in a chilled warehouse, or within the FMCG industry, but this is not essential. 

A Level qualifications would also be beneficial, as would RTITB standard training in forms of MHE. Previous experience of leading a team would also be an advantage.

We currently have a choice of two shift patterns available, namely;  

- 20:00 – 06:00 hours, Tuesday to Saturday  
- 20:00 – 06:00 hours, Friday to Tuesday  

A degree of flexibility will be required in order to meet the demands of the business peak periods and holidays.
