*** THIS IS CURRENTLY A MONDAY TO FRIDAY NIGHTS BASED ROLE PAYING GBP9.95 PER HOUR - THERE MAY BE POSSIBILITY TO GO PERM AND THE SHIFT PATTERN WILL EVENTUALLY BE CHANGING TO 4ON 4OFF DAYS NIGHTS ROTATING SHIFT PATTERN FROM OCTOBER ***
Our client, employing over 3000 staff across 40 sites, in retail and high value Logistics. The Selby site specialises in multi-customer logistics solutions for the retail and fashion sector. The site is currently experiencing expansion and growth.
We have immediate vacancies for temporary warehouse staff to process customer orders and returned products.
Warehouse Operatives/Order Pickers:
Role:
The successful candidates will be responsible for Pick/Pack and dispatching products to customers and processing returns in an efficient and timely manner.
Key Requirements;
* To perform order picking, packing and dispatch duties working within a specific target.
* You will be responsible for the reprocessing of returned products for resale
* You will have a high standard of work to ensure to quality is maintained
* You will work to specific targets
* You will be required to deal with a variety of garments, inspecting, folding and repackaging
* To perform checks
* Using WMS systems / RFD scanners.
Experience:
* Warehouse experience preferred
* Picking and packing experience
* This role includes some lifting and manual handling.
Person Specification
* Basic Computer skills
* Good level of English and Maths
* WMS Systems experience
* Attention to detail with the ability to work quickly and accurately
* Happy to work in a constantly changing environment
* Hands on role
* To have an excellent timekeeping and attendance record
* Team Player
Due to the location of the company, own transport is preferred; however, there are several car shares with fellow workers on offer, as well as a potential bus service
