Our client is looking for BDMA qualified technician to carry out a variety of both planned and reactive specialist cleaning works in commercial and residential buildings in and around Telford, Shrewsbury, Wrexham and Oswestry.

Our client specialises in providing cleaning solutions to our customers - from Disaster Restoration (after fire, flood or other emergency) to Carpet, Upholstery, Rug and floor cleaning services.

All about the role :

As part of a team of technicians, you will be required to work independently and subject to your experience, you could be travelling to one or more customer sites to clean their carpets or carry out remedial work after a fire or flood.

You will be required to respond to emergency work quickly and efficiently within set out timeframes and to offer positive support to customers who have experienced unexpected property damage and keep them informed of next steps within the restoration process.

You will collect payments from some customers and carry out basic banking.

Skills and experience you`ll need to bring to the Restoration Technician`s role:

" BDMA Qualification.
" The ability to problem solve and deal quickly with changing circumstances
" Be honest, reliable and hard working with a flexible "can do" attitude towards your work.
" Work empathetically with customers in varying circumstances
" The ability to work independently
" Be Physically fit
" Hold a full driving licence.

Hours

This is a full-time role, including Saturdays and occasional evenings or Sundays; subject to business needs. Overtime hours are often available.

You will be part of an out of hours on-call rota.

Location

You`ll be based from home and work primarily around Telford, Wrexham, Shrewsbury and surrounding areas - and occasionally further afield.

" The post requires a current, clean, driving licence
" Occasional overnight stays may be required
" Occasional out of hours work required
" Occasionally be "on call" as part of a Rota
" Occasionally travel for long periods of time
" DBS and Credit Checks are required
