The Opportunity
The Pension Planning Consultant will be responsible for the pre-approval of at retirement cases for drawdown and annuities, Occupational Transfers and SIPPs. You will ensure these cases comply with agreed frameworks, feeding back to advisers the decision reached and the rationale behind these decisions. This role will involve complete review and sign off of both the advice and the suitability report.
Main Accountabilities
• Responsibility for case checking of Pre Authorisation at retirement cases, completing a detailed analysis of each case.
• Sign off for Occupational Transfers
• Completion of QA.
• Act as a point of expertise for Partner's, Sales Management & the wider business to ensure that their needs are met and issues resolved.
• Undertake all aspects of the role in an ethical and compliant manner.
About you:
Ideally you will have AF3/G60 and would be Diploma qualified, or we would also like to hear from candidates with R04 or R05 or J04 or J05. Coupled with this you will have an established background in Pensions and Financial Services is essential.
