This is an excellent opportunity the RPC Group plc - a global design and engineering company specialising in polymer conversion in packaging and non-packaging markets. UCP Zeller, part of the Bramlage Division, manufactures plastic injection moulded packaging solutions for a blue chip customer base in pharmaceutical, healthcare, food,beverage and household sectors.  Employing over 300 people, the business has generated significant growth through innovation, market diversification and investment. Quality accreditations include IS013485, 9001, 14001 and 18001, BRC and PAS-99.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Quality Manager will take responsibility for the Operational Quality management of the quality function on site, with a remit including:

  • Ensuring products are delivered fault free and within agreed specifications.
  • Through the management of a quality team, ensuring the provision of a business wide quality infrastructure.
  • Driving continuous improvement in all areas of quality, ensuring best practice and a behavioural quality culture.
  • Management of non-conformance and customer complaints, driving stringent problem solving activities which promote ‘right first time’
  • Improving site KPIs including cost of quality, customer complaints, scrap etc.
  • Building strong, effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Working closely with the Quality Compliance Manager

Educated to a good standard, ideally supported by professional quality qualifications, candidates must have proven Quality Management experience, gained in a progressive manufacturing environment, supporting a pharmaceutical, medical or food customer base.  A knowledge of ISO13485 would be advantageous.

Able to demonstrate significant improvements in all areas of quality, you will have strong communication and people management skills, an analytical and results focus, along with a good command of problem solving, CI tools and techniques.
