Lecturer - Foundation

37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year (1.0 of the FTE)

Salary: £20,500 - £39,042 per annum (qualified lecturer will receive a minimum of £25,500)

Based at our Bedford campus, we require a Lecturer to prepare, deliver, assess and verify subject specialisms on a range of courses for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities from milestone 5 to Entry 3. You will need to support and guide students to achieve success and realise their potential, manage students’ learning and provide a high quality learning experience and to contribute pro-actively to developments in the Centre in curriculum development and innovative teaching. You will also be required to participate in marketing and promotion activities to support a range of programmes and learning opportunities

To be shortlisted for this vacancy you will meet the essential criteria which includes; Degree and/or vocational training at an equivalent level in a relevant subject, a willingness to achieve Certificate in Education or equivalent in line with the Statutory Instrument, willingness to achieve Assessor/Verifier qualifications and GSCE Maths and English (grades A – C) or equivalent.
