I am seeking to appoint an excellent experienced SEN Teacher to an outstanding SEN school for pupils with PMLD/SLD/MDVI and autism based in Kingston upon Thames. The school benefits from excellent staffing ratios, small class sizes and a highly personalised approach to learning.

I am seeking to appoint 2 class teachers, ideally from September 2018 to join their expanding team. The school offers state of the art purpose built facilities accessible to all students including those with visual impairment.

These include:
Hydrotherapy pool with sensory environment.
Specially adapted and equipped science, art, music and technology rooms.
Soft Play room.
A Sensory room.
Specially equipped playground.
Two minibuses for use in the community.

A background in creative arts would be beneficial but not essential; experience working with ASD and/or PMLD students is highly desirable. In addition to the class teacher role there is a the possibility of a TLR as the school plans for re-shapes to its leadership model as part of succession planning for the next two to three years. The school are happy for applications from those with recent experience in a UK SEN environment including NQTs, Overseas Trained Teachers (OTTs) either with QTS or with the possibility of obtaining QTS in the next 6-12 months.
