HGV / C+E / Class 1 Driver Opportunities

XPO are also recruiting HGV / C+E / Class 1 Driver vacancies to join the team on the Iceland Foods contract working 45 hours per week with various start times available. In return, we offer a competitive hourly pay rate of £12.28 plus overtime and shift premiums where required.

The HGV / C+E / Class 1 Driver’s responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out multi-drop deliveries on a daily basis within timeframes set out by the Company
• Providing a professional and efficient service to the Customer
• Collecting cages and returns from the Customer and transport back to the depot
• Ensuring all documentations completed and signed as required
• Carrying out vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks prior to the operation of any vehicle and report any defects immediately
• Meeting scheduled times and fuel efficiency

The successful HGV / C+E / Class 1 Driver will:

• Hold a Class 1 C+E driving licence
• Be required to meet expectation and standards in relation to driver hours EU legislation
• Ensure a safe efficient driving standards are maintained at all times
• Hold a driver CPC card
