Are you a Production Planning Manager within a manufacturing environment with strong people management skills and MRP knowledge? A thriving organisation supplying the automotive industry requires a Planning Manager to join their busy team. Salary GBP38-40k plus excellent benefits working Mon-Thu 7.30-4.45 and Fri 7.30-12.30!
As Planning Manager you will be reporting into the Plant and Production Director responsible for the overall planning, development and monitoring of production schedules. You will undertake capacity planning, planning production in line with customer schedules, ensure logistics department complements delivery at best cost, and issue production plans.
You will be integral in monitoring production outputs, liasing with customers on forecast demands and schedule changes as well as issuing OTIF, Factory Compliance and Stock Reports.
You will be managing a team of 6 employees so excellent people management skills are required with proven experience in motivating teams, monitoring performance and ensuring maximum output.
It is essential you have worked as a Production Planning Manager previously, with knowledge of MRP (WINMAN used - training will be provided). Prior involvement in implementing a new planning system is required along with advanced Excel skills. Knowledge of EFACS would be advantageous. You will have come from a manufacturing or engineering environment ideally with some exposure to the automotive industry.
