- 21 hours per week (plus 60 hours overtime per year for meetings etc)

Requirements of Group Setting Manager
- Passionate about child care
- Fun loving and forward thinking
- Strong managerial and leadership skills
- Organised and attention to detail
- Clean Driving License is essential
- Level 5 or above in childcare
- Excellent knowledge of EYFS
Responsibilities and Duties
Main responsibilities but not limited to:-
- Recruitment of all staff, in association with The Board of Trustees.
- Managing staff rotas and ensuring ratios are maintained at all times.
- Ensure the training and qualifications for staff are necessary and
relevant.
- Responsibility for Safeguarding, you will be Officer for Safeguarding
and Child Protection Officer.
- Ensure curriculum planning is of high quality for the entire group and
that assessments are carried out to OFSTED's requirements.
- Assist the Board of Trustees in planning events for the Pre Schools
fundraising and marketing opportunities.
- The successful usage of fees and funding software as well as completion
of all progress tracking for each child.
- Draw up and keep up to date with child placements for each setting
including new intake, extra sessions and any changes to regular
attendance patterns and invoice appropriately
- This position is supernumery but is not entirely office based; you will
meet with the Setting Leader of both settings and spend appropriate time
at each setting every week.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years relevant experience
- Level 5 NVQ or equivalent qualification in Childcare.
- Paediatric 1st aid training, Food Hygiene Training, Initial and
advanced Child protection training, First Aid at Work
