Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing's Production Support Division have a great opportunity available within a busy manufacturer of one-off components or small batches of high value components for industries such as Oil & Gas; Nuclear and Defence, based in Chesterfield. Working Monday to Friday on days and nights, with overtime available.
The company has over 20 years' experience in their sector and now have an opportunity for a skilled CNC Millturner to join their team due to their increasing order book.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Setting and operating CNC Millturning Machines
- Using Fanuc or Heidenhain controls
- Working on small batch, high value components
- Adherence to health & safety standards
- Strong emphasis on quality
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Must be apprentice trained or qualified by experience
- Previous experience in Millturning is essential
- Excellent attitude to work
- Engineering background - within high value components
- Setting and running CNC machinery
- Experience of working within a machine shop environment
- Experience of working at a fast pace
- Great communication and teamwork skills
