Each university partner is supported by their own dedicated business unit, across research, marketing, recruitment, course design and student success services, to support our shared goals for high quality student experiences and outcomes.

We're looking for a highly organised and motivated coordinator to act as a backbone for one of our dedicated units, ensuring that deadlines are met, actions are taken and our interactions with the partner are seamless, professional and efficient.

About the Job

Based out of Central London or Harlow, the post-holder will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Partnership through the preparation, organisation and management of all communication, engagement and documentation across the team. The role will also be responsible for supporting the team in meeting student enrolment and retention targets by reporting and monitoring student progress and return data and by following up with the partner university accordingly. This position will operate in a multi-stakeholder environment which will include members of the internal team as well as external university contacts. You'll attend meetings with our partner university, taking notes and driving actions from executive level discussions, new qualification development conversations and operational performance reviews.

To navigate in this environment, we'll be looking for a candidate that exercises skill and sensitivity when dealing with complex issues and multiple contacts. Through working with our internal team, you'll also gain exposure to the various areas of our business. You should expect the role to be dynamic, requiring a degree of adaptability and an ability to clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that will engage our audiences, and will help them to understand and retain the key messages.

This is a new position in the team established to support our exponential growth in activity over the past few years, so we're looking for someone who is as creative as they are organised. You'll be responsible for defining new procedures to monitor the results of assignments or projects; taking into consideration the characteristics of the work. You'll also take the lead in identifying ways to improve our information flow and new opportunities for collaboration across the team.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provision of daily, administrative support for the Head of Partnership and the team including calendar management, meeting coordination, document preparation and distribution, note taking, making travel arrangements, budget and finance record management, invoicing and expense management for all internal and external engagements across the partnership team.

  • Distribution of all partnership documentation including, but not limited to, process documentation, data performance reports, critical date summaries, Operations meetings and Executive Level Board agendas, presentations and notes.

  • Following up internal and external parties on outstanding actions identified in meeting notes for meetings to ensure deadlines on actions are met.

  • Coordination of various projects to improve student experience, sales effectiveness and/or student retention.

  • Support Partnership student recruitment and retention activities to drive increased student enrolments including assisting with workflow development, optimization, partnership stakeholder communication and follow up.

  • Management of internal and external stakeholders and relationships.

Qualifications

About You

This role will suit a strong and experienced coordinator, with 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar role, prepared to tackle a varied workload. They will thrive on operating as part of a team to achieve success. They may, on occasion, be required to handle sensitive information of a confidential nature and will be expected to observe a high standard of professionalism and discretion.

Excellent organisational skills, clear note taking with a willingness to drive completion of actions, and a flexible working attitude are essential.

The successful candidate will possess excellent administrative skills, a high standard of customer service and be familiar with Microsoft Office and its supporting applications, in particular Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
