Prospero Teaching are working with a primary school in Manchester (M12) to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with SEMH and challenging behaviour in KS1. The position starts September 2018.
Position:
•SEN Teaching Assistant with challenging behaviour in KS1
•Full-time (8:20am - 3:30pm)
•Salary: GBP55 - GBP65/day
•3 form entry primary school with fantastic facilities
The ideal teaching assistant will have:
•Prior experience working with children with challenging behaviour
•Experience working in a main stream primary school as a general or 1:1 support with SEN children
•Basic knowledge of the primary curriculum
•The child is known to outbursts and can be very disruptive to the classroom
•Ex-sports coaches and Psychology Graduates are ideal for this position
The school are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can support the child and manage his behaviour and learning in and outside the classroom.
