My client is recruiting for an Import/Export Coordinator. The role is based in central Brighton and is temporary initially for 6 months, but there is opportunity for it to be extended.

This is a global company with a great working environment.

Main duties:

  • Dealing with all import/export and logistics queries
  • Managing your own portfolio of clients
  • Managing international orders
  • Organising shipping documentation
  • Advising customers on shipping times and charges
  • Negotiating best shipping prices
  • Liaising with other departments as necessary

The right person for this role will have:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Negotiation skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to speak with people at all levels
  • An excellent working knowledge of Excel
  • A good working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience working in logistics

A second language to English would also be desirable.

The hours are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
