My client is recruiting for an Import/Export Coordinator. The role is based in central Brighton and is temporary initially for 6 months, but there is opportunity for it to be extended.
This is a global company with a great working environment.
Main duties:
- Dealing with all import/export and logistics queries
- Managing your own portfolio of clients
- Managing international orders
- Organising shipping documentation
- Advising customers on shipping times and charges
- Negotiating best shipping prices
- Liaising with other departments as necessary
The right person for this role will have:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Negotiation skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to speak with people at all levels
- An excellent working knowledge of Excel
- A good working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
- Experience working in logistics
A second language to English would also be desirable.
The hours are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
