The Category Manager will take responsibility for a number of category areas and will manage procurement activity in line with the organisation's Procurement strategy. Essential Skills
- The Category Manager will be a keen and enthusiastic self-starter who is eager to develop their career further.
- With sound project management skills, proven negotiation skills and excellent organisational skills the Category Manager will be able to prioritise their own workload as well as that of others within the team.
- The Category Manager will ideally be an active member of CIPS and will come with previous procurement experience gained in a complex, regulated organisation.
- Whilst previous NHS experience is desirable we are keen to speak to applicants from other industries who are looking to transition into another sector.
