Planning Admin Assistant
The role:
We are looking for strong administrator to work within our regional depot offering key support the Planning team to facilitate all planning requirements for job creation, noticing and project closure in relation to our gas sites. This role will see you delivering a first class service working with internal and external stakeholders, so communication skills are essential!
Activities will include:-
- Raising projects in our SAP system based on project designs for noticing and commercial requirements
- Raising, updating and reporting of NRSWA notifications to Highway Authority (or private road owners) within required timescales within SAP / Insight
- Liaising with Planners to ensure all customer notification letters are issued for all works in line with GSOS 13 requirements
- Having daily discussions with Site Managers to monitor progress of works, update and circulate the daily whereabouts report
- Producing project files for Site Managers and teams (electronic & paper copies), including safe dig prints, HSE F10 submissions, customer notification dates
- Monitoring the validity of the project safe dig prints and refresh as required
- Data capture of project e-packs for mains and services within Advantex and SAP to achieve project closure targets
- Issuing NRSWA registration details into SAP following project closure
- And other general office administration
Expertise, knowledge and experience required
Essential
- Have prior experience in a busy office environment
- Have excellent communication skills both verbally & written
- Have strong IT skills including Excel, Word
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work to deadlines
- Attention to detail and focus on quality is essential
- Be a team player with a 'can do' attitude
Desirable
- Experience of working in utilities environment
- SAP/Insight knowledge
- Knowledge of gas or NRSWA legislation
Benefits Package
- Personal Contract
- £21,000 - £24,000 per annum dependent on experience
- 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
- Bonus - up to 5% based upon achievement of measured targets
- 25 days annual leave per annum, plus bank holidays
