Cordant People are looking for a chef/cook to work for one of our well-established clients in Pontypool.
Band 3
Hours of work: 06:30 - 14:00 / 10:30 - 18:00 Roaster
Pay: GBP8.28+
Duration: On going
Skills needed:
Chefs, cooks and assistants need to be:
* Interested in food and cooking
* Willing to work in hot, noisy conditions
* Physically fit for standing, moving and lifting
* Flexible and adaptable
They also need:
* Awareness of food hygiene and food safety
* Team working skills
* Organisational skills
Duties:
* Planning meals and menus
* Preparing food
* Using kitchen equipment such as mixers
* Storing food correctly
Essential requirement
- Level 2 food safety in catering
- 706(1) / (2) or equivalent
