Currently seeking experienced Warehouse Operators to join our fabulous team in Portbury, Bristol.
Key Responsibilities:
• Put Away & Bulk Dropping
o Checking of FLT Equipment
o Ensure scanners are secured when using in Kombi
o Use RSM Scanner for all transactions
o Transport Raw Materials from Goods In canopy to storage location in racking.
o Check product against Portbury label before stacking away.
o Check pallet quantity before transacting
o Report all discrepancies (Quality/Quantity)
o Follows SOP,s
o Maintains KPI,s
• Picking
o Checking of FLT equipment
o Use RSM Scanner for all transactions
o Check material label against scanner information before transacting.
o Always stack pallets in a safe manor following height & H&S guide lines.
o Report all discrepancies (Quality/Quantity)
o Follows SOP,s
o Maintaining KPI,s
o Completing required paperwork
• Hygiene
o Ensuring work areas are maintained to a clean standard
o Ensuring FLT equipment are maintained to a clean standard
o Ensure waste packaging is correctly removed to recycling points
o Clean any spillages as you go.
Core Competencies: • Team player
• Ability to following written instructions
• Ability to operate mobile scanners
• Good communicator
• Ability to work unsupervised for long periods of time
• Good personal hygiene standards
• Physically fit
• General awareness of Site & Personal H&S rules & regulations
• Ability to train on FLT equipment (Various types)
Qualification: • Good reading, writing & mathematical skills
• Basic PC skill
• Understanding of GMP's
Previous experience in food production would be welcomed, but isn't always necessary. If you are keen to take on a new challenge, and start earning money, we would love to hear from you. The only pre-requisites are as the site is located in Portbury, having you own transport is essential, you must be flexible with hours and shifts.
