Mpeople are currently recruiting for a qualified and apprentice trained Technician with a good understanding of the manufacturing / engineering industry. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary and 25 days annual leave.
Key duties (but not limited to):
To manufacture seating systems and accessories to a high standard
To assemble seating systems as per technical instructions
To conform with the company's QA policy at all times
To ensure all stock is correctly booked to relevant job sheets
To reduce any material wastage
To ensure all seating systems are ready for fitting and delivery within the required dates
Identify any job signed off at the inspection stage meets the requirements of the Engineers instructions, technical instructions and conforms to the internal agreed quality standards
Essential skills:
Ability to work from 3D & 2D CAD and other technical drawings
Craft apprentice trained with City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 qualifications
Knowledge and understanding of construction methods in order to work with various material types (light gauge steel metal, ABS etc)
Must have a meticulous, disciplined approach and work to a high level of accuracy
Excellent dexterity in the use of hand & power tools
Use of floor mounted machinery
