Maths Teacher - Hatfield

Keep Education is working in partnership with a secondary school near Hatfield. The school currently looking for a Maths teacher for the start of the new school year; they are very open to applications for both NQTs and experienced teachers.

The school is looking for a driven candidate with a zest for teaching, who has excellent communications skills and is ideally a team player.

The position is a full time role with the teacher starting full time from September 2018.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

-The successful candidate will be expected to take a lead classes through the KS3/4 maths curriculum.
-Full planning and marking will be expected.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must.
-Be prepared to work as part of a team.
-Be professional and appropriately dressed at all times.
-To undertake school duties in line with school policies and procedures
-To cover lessons and registration sessions for absent colleagues in line with
the school Cover Policy, based on the concept of rarely cover, and in
exceptional circumstances

Qualifications and Skills Required:

-To be considered the candidate would have to be either have QTS or be an NQT.
-Be well versed and skilled within the KS3/4 Maths curriculum.
-Enhanced DBS Certificate
-Knowledge in a variety of subjects
-Ability to provide two professional reference checks
-Proof of Legal right to work in the UK
-Excellent communication skills, which are crucial for communicating with secondary students of all ages.

The role will be in a School near Hatfield, which is close to a number of fairly big towns close by, such as St Albans, Luton and Welwyn Garden City.
