Science Technician
37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (term time plus 2 weeks)
The Castle School is looking to appoint a full time Science Technician to start in September 2018.
This is a full time post for term time plus 2 weeks (40 weeks per annum which is the equivalent of 45.3980 paid weeks per year.)
The salary scale is Grade 14 on the School Support Staff Pay Scale (GBP9.01 - GBP9.68 per hour). This represents an actual starting salary of GBP15,141 per annum.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience of working in a team; organisational skills; and have a flexible attitude towards the work that needs to be carried out in the school. A scientific background or knowledge is highly desirable as the role includes preparation of practical lessons from year 7 to GCSE.
