This role will provide maternity cover for administration support in our Systems Division in Rotherham. This site manufactures complex seal systems for use in the oil and gas and associated industries.
To work within a small team - this role will provide exceptional communication and service levels via prompt and accurate execution of customer orders whilst carrying out general administration tasks.
The development of skills and competency in the role will lead to the involvement in project planning and co-ordination, working closely with and assisting the Systems Coordinator and the API Systems Manager.
The role:
- Assisting the Systems team with systems related enquiries, providing information and resolutions in a timely and professional manner to ensure efficient running within the manufacturing process.
- Work with an internal and external supplier base to ensure deliveries are on time for all customer orders.
- Assist the Systems team with the organisation of workload and production scheduling.
- Create and manage system stock codes as well as entering and maintaining Bills of Materials, ensuring efficient execution of customer orders.
- Prioritise own workload and assist with general administration within the systems division.
- Participate in project work where required.
- Be a team player with the potential to become an integral part of the API systems division team.
- Engage in the use of internal computerised systems.
The ideal candidate will be
- IT Literate, and able to use Microsoft Office applications.
- Have previous experience of working within a customer focused environment
- Ideally have had previous experience of SAP .
- Have an optimistic approach to their work
- Able to read technical drawing
- Have experience of project work
- Have previous experience of working within a technical/engineering environment
- Be Familiar with the administration and workings of a manufacturing organisation
