£23,584 - £25,854 per annum pro-rata + £750 essential car allowance pro-rata + additional benefits

29 hours per week, 12 month fixed term contract

The role

We have an exciting and varied opportunity to work with the Northway Community Association (NCA) and the Ark T Centre who manage The Venue@Cowley to develop lively and well used community buildings.  You will lead on marketing to raise the profile of both centres to all sectors of the local community, potential users and hirers and encourage commercial use. You will have a supporting role in the development of activities within the centres, establishing a strong working relationship with key stakeholders to deliver a co-ordinated programme which is in line with local need.  The work will focus predominantly in Northway.

Skills and experience required

• 5 GCSE’s at C or above or equivalent

• A marketing or community development qualification or equivalent experience would be highly desirable

• Experience of developing and delivering a marketing strategy and advising/guiding volunteers and trustees in its implementation

• Knowledge of community development and capacity building

• Experience of managing projects, meeting deadlines and prioritising workload

• Experience of analysing information and situations and recommending appropriate action

• Competent user of Microsoft Office applications

• Experience in developing/updating websites and use of social media would be an advantage

Due to the nature of the role some flexibly to attend events out of hours and travel between different Greensquare locations may be required.
