Temporary Communication Support Workers x2
30 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum, Grade D salary range £19,446 – £21,693 pro rata (actual salary £13,503 - £15,063 per annum)
Eggbuckland Community College Academy Trust and Eggbuckland Vale Primary School are seeking to jointly appoint two Communication Support Workers (CSWs) to work cross-phase with Deaf students who use British Sign Language as their main form of communication.
These are new positions offered in partnership by the two establishments, both of which have a Hearing Support Centre within a mainstream setting. The successful applicants will have a minimum requirement of BSL Level 3 or above. You must be able to support Deaf students in the mainstream class ensuring lesson content is accessible to Deaf learners who communicate with BSL.
These positions will be on temporary contracts for 1 year initially with a requirement to work across both sites, according to the needs of pupils.
