An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an Electrical Coordinator to join us at our office based in Coatbridge.
Within this role, you will be responsible for appointing, monitoring and maintaining PDA/Tablet control work allocation. Monitoring daily work volumes, you will ensure efficient use of resources to meet turnaround timescales, maximising productivity and drive efficiency by minimising travel distances between jobs. Whilst ensuring employees have the workload to allow them to perform to an optimum level at all times, you will also provide supporting information to contract supervisors and management on operative performance levels.
In order to be successful in this role, you will ideally have an understanding of the construction industry, including trades, materials, processes and safety. Due to the various working relationships within this role, you should also have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Good IT knowledge and understanding is also essential (inc. Handheld terminal devices), along with strong organisational skills necessary to manage and organise own workload. Ideally you will have worked in a similar role and have an understanding of Coordinating/scheduling works within the social housing sector. Great attention to detail and organisation is highly desirable as well as the ability to use computerised Information Systems to provide statistical data.
Proficient in MS Excel, you will have experience in working productively under pressure and will be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C or above. Above all, the successful Coordinator will possess a strong customer focus with ability to motivate others and the passion to thrive.
