Our client is a renowned and admired manufacturing business, enjoying market leading status in their category sector.
An opportunity has arisen for an Interim/Permanent HR Advisor to work a Monday to Friday role based at their manufacturing site in the area of Avonmouth (Bristol). This will suit a true interim or a qualified HR practitioner that is searching for a challenging temporary role that has experience within a unionised environment START IMMEDIATELY this opportunity could lead to a permanent one for the right candidate!
Responsibilities:
Day to day running of the HR function, working alongside the senior site management team - including the organisation of own internal workload.
Assisting with cultural transformation and engagement projects on site
Providing an efficient internal customer service to managers and employees.
Providing guidance on HR, procedures and processes and employee relations matters such as disciplinary and grievance issues.
Produce various letters (reference, change of terms of employment etc.)
Conduct the HR Induction and review the presentation on a regular basis
Prepare contractual paperwork as and when required
To conduct exit interviews for staff leavers and analyse the data for continuous improvement and best practice
Support HR Business Partners with HR projects and initiatives
Payroll experience is ESSENTIAL
SAP TRAINED ESSENTIAL
Hourly Rate of GBP15.00PH - GBP17.00PH depending on experience (GBP30,000 - GBP32,000 Equivalent)
Monday - Friday (FLEXI working hours 37.5 hour week)
1 Year Contract
Experience required
CIPD Qualified
Ideally worked within manufacturing (FMCG/Food/Pharmaceuticals/Liquids/Packaging) - must have experience of dealing with shop floor staff
Dealing with disciplinary and basic performance management challenges from shop floor staff - you will hit the ground running with it (2/5 days stand alone)
You must have worked in a fast moving environment, ideally manufacturing or a fast paced supply chain environment
