We are seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant to support the Academy’s catering provision for students and staff in the main kitchen, to support buffet catering for visitors and events and to serve within the main academy

The position will be working 5 days per week between Monday to Friday for 39 weeks per year (term-time and training days); The position will be 20 contracted hours per week (4 hours per day). The position will occasionally require support at out of school hours events.

The position involves a range of duties to include basic food preparation, serving students and staff and cleaning the area after service. Within these roles there is a need to work closely as a team as well as periods of working independently.

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.  However, we welcome applicants with an interest in this area of work and in becoming part of our friendly team, which prides itself on a happy and efficient environment.
