Financial Analyst

Our Client is a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of niche medicines and services to the Healthcare sector. The Group operates through two divisions and across 6 sites in UK and Europe, offering a portfolio of innovative and complementary products and services. They are a fast-paced, dynamic and forward-thinking organisation with great aspirations!

They are looking for a Financial Analyst to join them on a permanent, full time basis where you will work 37.5 hours per week.

Handling, transforming and drawing insights from large datasets, you will be able to articulate financial information clearly and graphically, in a way that is easy for non-financial users, particularly senior management, to understand. Supporting on the preparation of forecasts and budget processes, you will be commercially-minded, and able to engage with people across a range of business functions.

They are looking for someone who is very skilled with Microsoft Excel and who is able to not only work with complex and inconsistent data sets to respond to ad-hoc requests for business insight, but identify opportunities to create lasting data, reporting and analytical work flow improvements so that the team can respond faster in the future.

The role is also suited to someone who has financial modelling skills and experience, particularly in support of investment appraisals or assessing the return on potential new business strategies, and you will also be comfortable working with models built by other people.

Finally, you should be a bright, thoughtful self-starter who has the initiative to pursue outcomes without requiring strong direction of the line manager at all times.
