Currently we are recruiting for a Project Manager on behalf of our client to manage the complete new build project process as well as ongoing existing websites.


You will be responsible for ensuring Magento ecommerce projects run smoothly, on time, and on budget. Working with the design, development, support, sales and marketing departments you will also work closely with the client throughout the project. The role covers managing projects at the very beginning from planning and wireframing to the launch and ongoing developments and optimisation post launch. As well as new builds, you will also work with existing clients on supporting their existing store with optimisation and further developments.


* Manage the development of Magento projects.
* Communicating with clients and managing expectations.
* Work with design, development and marketing teams to ensure project delivery.
* Wireframing and mockups.
* Managing tasks internally.
* Defining and prioritising requirements and project briefs.
* Testing and feedback on design and development work.
* Manage client budgets and timeframes.
* Maintaining project schedules.
* Work with third-party agencies and developers.
* Suggest improvements and advise clients on areas to focus on.
* Work within existing internal processes and develop new ones.
* Train clients on using Magento.
* Help clients with importing data and populating content.
* Managing Magento configuration and setup.
* Assisting with the sales department for writing proposals and pitching for projects.


* Experience managing ecommerce projects, preferably with Magento.
* Technical experience, ideally as a developer.
* Excellent people skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
* Punctual and good time management.
* Understanding of project processes and timelines.
* Understanding of Agile project management.
* Excellent organisation and planning skills.
* High attention to detail and thorough checking.
* Excellent communication skills to help explain complex and technical aspects simply.
* Ability to form good lasting relationships with clients.
* Experience with WordPress an advantage.
* Magento Solution Specialist Certification an advantage.
* Travel will be required when visiting clients.
