An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Assistant to join our Business Development and Bid Team based in Welwyn Garden City.

Within this role, you will support our Bid Team to develop and expand our social housing business through preparation and submission of excellent SQ and Bid proposals to local authorities and housing association markets.

You will provide preparation, production, post production and document management service for the Bid and SQ Teams. Managing and coordinating the distribution of bid and SQ documents, clarifications and tender responses, you will also be responsible for the administration of the central bid library, contracts store and CRM system.  It is also expected that the Business Development Assistant will assist in the preparation of written responses to SQ and some bid documents.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you are educated to GCSE Level (or equivalent) in English and Maths and have experience of working to, and delivering against, deadlines in a busy office environment. You will have experience of managing your own workload effectivity and in the use of general office equipment.  You will have a working knowledge of computerised systems, including MS Office and data entry.  You should also have good written and verbal communication skills.
